Ahhhh, 2012.
We finally made it….. to the end of the world.
Well, technically isn’t the world always ending?
Do we have and definitive evidence saying that the world is going to explode?
Are we really going to get all hyped up about a calendar started thousands of years ago ending in less than a year?
Not me. Nope.
Humans have been thinking that the world is coming to an end since we could fear.
Transfer the fear of death to the fear of the end of the world. Same thing just on a global level.
Some say it’s the end of the world as we know it. I agree with that, the world we know is always changing. At one point the world we knew was flat, and you’d fall off the edge of it. We also believed in clouds with mountains on top that held super human beings that threw lightning bolts and shit. Well, not literally shit.
The world we knew in the 50’s is drastically different from the world we know now.
Fucking cell phones! Look at the progress phones and computers have made in the past 10 years alone!
You can call me a skeptic and a nay sayer, whatever. Even if the world is ending, there’s nothing I can do to stop it, so I might as well just keep living till I can. Wasn’t that the plan in the first place?
So what does one do with the last year they have left?
Me?
Well, I plan to keep making porn.
I love my job, why would I change it now?
I’d like to start doing some private cam shows to start. Maybe start working that in on Wednesdays, let you guys know about that.
I’m thinking this Spring I’ll be traveling quite a bit, hoping to make it out to a few different cities and meet all of you amazing people! There have been talks of some joint “tours”, so we’ll see how that goes. Get to spread the NextDoor Studios love!
I’ll hopefully be able to attend more Pride events this year! I have a blast in every city I get the opportunity to partake in these wonderful events with!
For school, I’d like to be able to take a serious amount of classes and get them out of the way before I start going to a state school and start paying them an absurd amount of money for a degree that I may not be able to use once I get it……
Yeah, kind of wonderful how our countries economy and education system work hand in hand to screw everyone.
Take out large loan for college degree.
Economy takes dump, no jobs.
No job with new college degree.
Big loans, no jobs, and shiny college degrees.
Yeah, I sit there and look at that little thought process right there, and even I get a little confused as to why I’m still dumping money into my education. But then I remember, I’m a firm believer in a good education and actually learning what I get exposed to in my classes. So, for me, that shiny college degree is just what I want.
I feel bad for the people who got the degree, but don’t have the initiative to do anything with it.
